Honda has just released a sketch of the design of the new SUV, which is intended for the South American market. The SUV called WR-V.

W-RV stands for 'Winsome Runabout Vehicle'. This car was developed by Honda specifically for the South American markets, especially Brazil.

Honda WR-V is planned to be diving debut in Sao Paolo International Motor Show 2016 next month. When sold later, the SUV is positioned under the Honda HR-V.

From the design, there are some similarities with the Honda HR-V. One of them is the body with horizontal creases on the sides. The front of the car adopts a design with aggressive lines, sharp headlights and grille are relatively small.

Not known for sure, when mass-produced cars. However, the prototype can be seen from next month. Previously it was rumored WR-V will use Honda Jazz platform. This crossover is expected to use a gasoline engine 1.2-liter i-VTEC-powered 88.8 bhp. In addition, there is a choice later diesel engine Earth Dreams 1.5-liter i-DTEC powered 98.6 bhp.

Transmission options include a five-speed manual transmission and CVT. While the diesel engine version uses a six-speed manual transmission.
